Giving Thanks

Today as I was about to get started on delivering another tech tip for my newsletter, I struggled to put my thoughts together.
And then it dawned on me…
With Thanksgiving just a week away and the Holidays approaching fast, It was best to show my appreciation for all this sport has provided over the years.

Where it Began

Since I was a kid, I always loved to ride. Over the years that love for riding snowmobiles turned into a passion. A passion to excel at the highest level doing something that shaped my future as a role model to my kids, so that they would have the confidence to chase after their passion in life too.

Lessons From the Sport

What I didn’t expect was the many lessons it would teach me. The Grit to never give up on a dream, the drive to set goals and pursue them with a calculated mind set and to always stay humble no matter how successful I became.

I’m thankful for all the friendships I have gained from my travels on the race circuit, my partnerships with various guiding outfits and the weekend warrior trips with the best of buds out on the mountain.

Faith & Family

Finally…and most importantly, I give thanks to God and my family. Through them anything is possible. They have always had my back and give me grace and encouragement to keep pushing on in pursuit of it all. When times get tough, they lift me up. When things are good, their praise is felt the most.
