If you know me, you know I love spending those hot summer days on my boat with the fam.
This weekend we loaded up our Malibu Wakesetter and hit the road for a trip to our favorite spot in Lake Powell, UT.
After just a short 3-hour drive, we arrived at the Bullfrog put-in, had the boat on the water and the crew on board ready to go have some fun!
My Malibu is a 2010, 23’ LSV Wake Setter.
Although it’s just a 2010, it hits all the marks for power, comfort, style, and capability.
Our crew loves all water sports, so it’s nice to have a boat that can do it all without breaking the bank on one of the newest models.
With the boards in the racks and the tunes cranked high, we cruised across the water weaving in and out of the steep red and white canyon walls.
One by one we each took our turn to carve up the surf wave and do our best version of living the life of a surfer on some ocean coastline.
My daughter and I threw down on the wakeboards, and she and her friends got tossed like rag dolls on the tube!
We made a few stops to test the nerve on some cliff jumps and just enjoyed swimming in the cool, refreshing water too.
It was the first boating trip of the summer with more to follow. So much fun was had and I’m looking forward to the next time we get to beat the heat.
